After submitting an online order at about 4:50 pm immediately received a call advising I should come in 1 hour as opposed to the suggested time of 30 mins. No big deal as I had only just entered the order and thought wow "how considerate". Unfortunately after arriving an hour later as instructed I was advised it would be another 20 mins. Again no big deal, however a hour past and still no food. After another 49 mins had past I asked how much longer and was told 15 mins, again I waited 15 mins for a total of in store waiting time of 1 hour and 15 mins and when no food arrived I promptly left.

While it is a new establishment and growing pains can be expected; delays if this sort are completely unreasonable and a customer should be notified they are expected to wait over 2 hours in total for an order.

It baffles me how they could have gotten wait time so wrong. It can only be surmised that there is either porr management or a porr understanding of workflow and capacity. For now I say stay away as what I experienced can only be chalked up to extremely poor planning and communication and does not bode well for the restaraunt as a whole...

Terrible experience can't comment on the food because I never got any, placed an order at quarter after 5:00 on their online system, it said that the order would be ready to pick up at 6:00 pm.

Drove all the way from downtown Dartmouth out to pick up the food, arrived just after 6:00 and they said that there was no order and they didn't receive it due to a technical issue.

They said there was no order and didn't give any apology, said with online orders they call you. Like really? What is the point of having an online ordering system. They said they could make the food if we wanted to place an order but it would take at least 25 minutes. So at this point, already wasted 1.5 hours since ordering. They said to go home and order it using Uber eats as a solution?

Mistakes happen but the response from the restaurant took an already bad experience and turned it into an awful experience. A simple apology and saying they would prepare the order right away would have remedy the situation. Instead I'm taking the time to leave a review so others will know...

Me, my husband, and our 3 year old went on opening night here. Everyone was friendly and prompt with service, and the food tasted absolutely delicious! I don’t know a lot about Indian cuisine and can’t handle too much spice, and I found it more flavourful than I anticipated. Not too spicy at all (they knew not to make it too hot for me haha). We had the mango lassi drink, chickpea salad, and samosas (10/10), some butter naan, which was the best naan I have ever had legit, butter chicken poutine (amazing), and my first masala dosa.. it was like a crunchy edged delicious crepe with filling aside some curry (?) vegetables. Our favourite thing was the kerala fried rice, the flavour is like nothing I have had before, seasoned well and a lot of umami. Decor is clean and simple, tables spaced out appropriately for mid pandemic, and is a comfortable environment. We live on the Halifax side but will head over whenever we get a chance! I want to try more of what is offered here and support this...
