Have eaten here twice before with minimal complaints but upon my last visit I left very disappointed in my dining experience. I had went out for lunch with a friend and my one year old, while most places have a “baby plate” if you ask I figured there would be no need to bring our own food for my little one. When we were ready to order I asked our server about a baby plate, she seemed very confused so I said, “how about just some mashed potatoes and some steamed vegetables like broccoli or even some cooked carrots?” she still seemed confused but put the order in nonetheless. When the food was brought out it was basically inedible for my little one, the mashed potatoes were absolutely drenched in melted butter and the broccoli had been cooked in soy sauce and seasoned with what looked like a lot of salt and pepper. I didn’t feel comfortable feeding my baby that much salt as babies don’t need salt at all in general so that ended up being a waste of money. I suppose I should have clarified for everything to be plain but I was under the impression that she understood it was for my baby and everything should be left plain. Like I said, maybe I should have specified so maybe that was on me; but I also would have appreciated if she could have clarified or double checked with the cook that it was to be a plate made for a baby so everything could have been prepared appropriately. Her service, however, was fair otherwise, my meal and my friend’s meal were...

First time customer VERY IMPRESSED!

Chilli Cheese dog heaven!

Labour Day long weekend, arrived at 11:43, food arrived at 12:30. Three ladies running around serving close to 40 or more tables. Yup it was a wait, but we'll worth it. Highly recommend,

Now for a personal view;

Please remember people, there is a labour shortage in Alberta and basically in Canada as a general view, It's hard to find good servers out there let alone people who actually give a hoot to help in the service industry.

So please be patient, understanding and caring for the staff in the service industry.

Our waitress was pregnant and OWNING the floor so WOW. Awesome service when she managed to get to us. So polite and cheerful even after dealing with entitled Karens.

I witnessed some pretty ugly, interactions with people (customers) during our stay.

Entitled Karen's bickering about how long it was taking, others eating their entire meal and then calling the server and stuffing a half eaten piece of toast in their face saying "this is moldy"....sigh.

One Karen bickered about something being cold and making a point they were waiting an HOUR for the food then proceeded to leave telling other customers "it's going to be a long wait!" As if it was some sort of vengeance to the company. Sigh get over yourself. You try serving over 40 tables with no mistakes!

We need to be thankful that these people are there to serve us, not entitled thinking they are BELOW...

Couldn't say enough good things about this spot! Wanted to try it based on online reviews and the menu looked amazing. We came on a Friday morning about 1130 and it was already a busy spot. The one waitress working had it under control! Tables needing bills, food, kitchen order ready, kids wanting to talk, menus to give, people to sit- no problem she was queen of multitasking. All with a genuine looking smile on her face and a quick pace in her sneakers. The atmosphere was friendly and chill, with lots of fun signs and decor. My only complaint with the menu was it had too many delicious options to pick from. We had two adult meals and two kid meals and left very full and happy. The absolute best was the kids menu with such classics as "whatever" and "I don't care". Kids appreciated the extra kindness from our waitress. We will definitely stop by here again on the way through. Great job!

We were almost worried when reading the reviews...but the complaints about portion size are unfounded. Our plates were piled with food. Everyone at the table seemed to enjoy their meal. I had the Chilli cheese dog which was good... but I would recommend that you ask for the bun to be toasted first...as it was pretty soggy. Over all. We got a kick from the sign out side and the shirts hanging inside.... Come on and give them a try... you got nothing to loose.... prices could use a bit of a scale back... but what do I know about running a business.... carry on
