The motel and eating establishment are located very central for touring the areas of interest in that part of Saskatchewan (Big Muddy tours out of Coronach, Wood Mountain, East Block Grasslands Park, St. Victor Petroglyphs, Willow Bunch Museum).|The rooms are clean and roomy enough - nothing fancy. Microwave and fridge provided. The beds were comfy and room service was offered each day. The take out breakfast is a good start to the day and a nice touch (muffin, drink, apple, yogurt). You have to register for the motel at the pub, which is a bit unusual but it worked okay. Food and service at the pub was very good (we ate there twice out of four nights). The decor was real neat. We found that on one of our nights for supper there was a very loud group of guys that did not care how much noise they made or the...

A wonderful surprise for the weary traveler. While traveling around small towns for work, the hotels and restaurants we find are usually just adequate. But occasionally, when we are lucky, we stumble upon a little treasure like the Jolly Giant.

Large very comfortable rooms, with hd-tv, fridge, microwave, good shower, and sheets as nice as I have at home. And it comes with a breakfast starter, all bagged up for you as you head out the door.

The pub is a family style place with fantastic food, a large drinks/beer menu, and a nice atmosphere. A great place to come after work or long hours on the road.

The people working there are genuinely nice, courteous, always helpful, and look to ensure you have a positive experience.
