Cocoa Pesto Food Shoppe — Restaurant in Windsor

What an amazing find! We didn't know the area but needed to find some food and this was more than perfect! Not many tables but one was found for us on a Tuesday evening and we were blown away with the wonderful food and welcoming service from the head chef. We had the house burgers, the special sauce and meat were gorgeous according to my family, no tastes offered. I had a pasta special which was yummy and my daughter had Chicken parmesan, which was a very generous portion and delicious (tasted by all) We didn't have time for pudding in house, so we took them with us as they were in jars and we were even given spoons to eat on the remainder of our journey, very tasty. So pleased that we happened upon this place, it really is 5 stars!...

My Husband went here today while I was doing a home inspection in the area. When I was finished he brought me a Mediterranean salad with chicken. I am Celiac, so he asked the owner alot of questions and my Husband called me to suggest different things. I am always super leery when it comes to eating out, as alot of restaurants do not understand celiac and all that it entails, but my Husband assured me that this man was quite knowledgeable. First time at the not so new location of Cocoa Pesto. I had been to the old location several time. 2 people ordered the pulled pork mac and cheese, 1 the beef burrito and 1 had fish and chips. Everyone loved their meals. "This is the best fish and chips I've ever had" was quote. We followed up with key lime pie and creme caramel. Desserts were amazing. Scott recommended the raspberry lemonade. OMG! It tasted like summer. You can order hot food to go and there are meals to take home and heat up. Service was top notch. Even though there are only a few tables, we never felt rushed. It's a lovely quaint spot that we can't wait...
