Located in a convenient spot just off the highway at exit 5 this place was very inviting the staff excellent and responsive. Lots of TVs for watching the big game while I was there I caught some march madness action. I started my order with the popcorn chicken which was paired with an amazing sauce which was recommended by my waitress. After seeing some amazingly tasty looking photos on facebook I decided to try the salmon and mushroom risotto and I was not at all let down it was by far the best dish I've had in Windsor and surrounding area. the whole place was spotless well taken care of. There was a nice selection of beer some local which they had my favourite from schoolhouse brewery. Vlts on sight of your feeling lucky I also over heard they are starting to open earlier to offer there all day breakfast sooner. Again I highly recommend this awesome spot there staff and food will make you come back for more and more

I have been craving curry and didn't want to make it myself, so tonight I ordered up some take-out: Chickpea Curry and the Hot Buttered Cuttlefish as an appy. I was thrilled to arrive home with piping hot dishes. The Hot Buttered Cuttle Fish is crispy battered calamari tossed in sweet and spicy Thai chili sauce, thin sliced multi colored peppers and two fresh wedges of lemon to squeeze all over. The cuttlefish was perfectly cooked and went really well with the sauce, and I appreciate the lemon to enhance the flavors. The delicious chickpea curry was savory and rich, not too spicy, chocked full of perfectly cooked chickpeas and tofu. It came with a generous side of basmati rice and grilled Naan type bread. And to top it all off, there were happy little notes on my food containers, how sweet. Thank you Katie for the wonderful service, I'll definitely be back!

We had a really great evening at the Exit 5ive,Pub has always been great, with a warm welcome and fine selection of well kept drinks on tap, Wide selection of cocktails and whiskeys, always have the more premium whiskeys in stock. my wife ordered Margarita because of she is a Margarita lover ,she said best margarita she had. Chef offers fine dining and the pub fine ale The meals we ordered were fabulously tasty and value for money. My family with kids had a wonderful meal served by Chef Shan.. we went for a burger the choices of burgers were extensive beautifully cooked and presented the beef was succulent and full of flavour .

I’m very disappointed with our experience tonight at Exit 5 restaurant. We have been here before and had great service and excellent food with a different waitress and I assume different cook. The restaurant didn’t seem very busy.. only about three other tables besides ours. Yet our food took almost an hour to come out. When the food came out we noticed that the Alfredo was barely warm and two of the burgers were pink inside. Our waitress did not come to check on our table after our food had arrived, and she seemed to be under the influence at the time which made us all uncomfortable. After having her come to the table and explain what was wrong with our food, she took the Alfredo back to the kitchen and had it warmed for us, which was great! But when we brought up the pink burgers which was left half eaten there was an apology but no compensation or offer to have it remade for us...regardless of the fact that it was barely half eaten. I do not blame the owner of the establishment in any way for this experience although I am very disappointed overall with our experience at exit 5 tonight. Where our first visit was very positive this visit was disappointing for every one of us. I’m not sure our group will be returning.

To add to our experience, we asked for a dessert menu and were given the menu, she then asked if it would be ok to go for a “quick smoke” and come back to take our dessert order. Very unprofessional...

Been here a few times now, I like the atmosphere, but I've had some questionable experiences, but this last time was enough for me, won't return after this.

Wife ordered the special, a Ruben sandwich with the soup of the day, we asked what the soup was, "vegetable but let me check" the waitress said, she returned and said nope its potato bacon, that was great, didn't want vegetable soup. Guess what soup we got, chicken vegetable, it was ok but not what we ordered. On to the sandwich, they used roast beef not slided corned beef, this is not a Ruben, again not what was ordered.

I ordered the exit 5 burger, which was a good burger, but when ordering the waitress (Hailie) said the sides were fries, mashed potatoes (I ordered mashed before and you only get 1 small scoop, which is skimpy) or Cesar side salad, I asked is there an additional charge for the Cesar, she said "no", great so that's what I ordered, it was pretty good but missing parmesan cheese.

She hands me the bill and there's a 3.99 charge for the salad, so I said you charged me for the salad and she said "didn't know they were going to charge for that, I guess we'll know for the next time" and didn't take it off the bill. Ok so there won't be...

We went out to exit 5 for supper tonight after a great first experience a few weeks ago and I am sorry to say we were very disappointed. They didn’t seem to be very busy but the wait for our food was almost an hour long. When it finally did come out my dish wasn’t warm and I had to ask them to reheat it for me. After my friends dove into their burgers they realized they were pink on the inside. The waitress seemed to be under the influence of something by the way she was acting and it made our whole table very uncomfortable. We brought the burgers being undercooked to their attention as my friends only ate half of them and there was no effort made to compensate them or re make their food. At the end of our meals we requested to see a dessert menu, our waitress brought one over and then asked if it would be ok for her to go have a “quick smoke”... which she then did, and then came back 10 minutes later after her smoke break to finally take our orders. Very unprofessional and poor customer service. I thoroughly enjoyed my last visit to exit 5 and was looking forward to another meal there but this will make us second think...
