Not happy...and not going to EVER order again!

Placed order @ 6:35PM quoted pizza to deliver "within the hour". Pizza delivered FINALLY at 8:10PM - 1HR 35MINS LATER. Called once at 7:40 to find out where the delivery was and was told it should be arriving right away, that they got a little behind - (the receipt I received shows order taken at 7:35...AN HOUR AFTER I PLACED MY ORDER, not sure why that is). Another 35 mins passed, so I called again and was advised that my order was delayed because of 10 other delivery orders to Transcona and was offered a 50% discount off the PIZZA still paid a $6 delivery charge and a $1 MC processing Fee...didn't think that was legal. The other option I was told is that they would just tell the driver to return. This is a head office directive to fill Transcona orders before ours in Oakbank, the logic I understand BUT if I had known it could take up to 2hrs for my pizza to deliver I would never have placed an order...and will not place an order again.

Top it all off, the pizza is cold and greasy and gross! Should have told...

It honestly hurts me to leave this review but grew up with the St.Vital/windsor park gondola and was my favorite pizza by miles. Since moving to transcona I've ordered 3 or 4 times and have been letdown each order. bland, barely any cheese or spice, toppings, freezer burnt, dry crust and barley edible. Last time I asked for a well done pizza and I when I opened it up at home it was legit a raw mess. I had to cook for 20 mins in my oven just to make it somewhat edible. They are nice to deal but seem very understaffed. Sad to say its the last time I order from there unfortunately. I'm not one to ever complain or leave a bad review especially for a local wpg restaurant but I'm leaving this in hopes manamgnt/ownership can see and step in and make some serious changes and get back some happy returning customers. On their website they have advertised "2 specialty 9" pizza's for 22.99". We called and a young girl answered the phone who was totally clueless. When we told her we wanted the advertised special and asked for the combo and BDC she had to ask a co-worker in the background. We added an individual Ceaser salad for $5.49. She tells us there is a delivery charge of $3... which is fine. I have no problem paying for delivery.

Where I DO have a problem is the final total of $44.96 for 2 small pizza's and a salad. How the hell do you come up with THAT?????

$22.99 + $5.49 + $3.00 (delivery)= $31.48 add 13% taxes = $35.57 THAT'S A FAR STRETCH FROM THE $44.96 SHE SAID THE TOTAL WAS.
