Mr. B's - what happened!? You used to be one of our favourite (expensive) pizza places!
We ordered the chicken Bacon ranch tonight, that tasted like barely anything but crust!
We also ordered two poutines because the fries are the best, but when we opened them...hardly any gravy. I had to rush upstairs and make gravy.
The small pizzas are SMALL for $17, and I don't think we will be ordering from here again in the near future.
UPDATE: After a few months, we decided to call the owners and go back. They offered us 50% off our order and we ordered virtually the same food as last time to compare.
I don't think it's the same as when the previous owners were here unfortunately. I've upped my rating because they were extremely friendly and remembered me from the review over the phone as well as I was able to actually visit the restaurant. Owners were there, which is very nice to see on a busy Friday night.
The first time we ordered through skip, this time was pickup. Very cozy and intimate restaurant experience. Now, for the food.
The poutine did have gravy this time, but maybe a bit too much. Good rule of thumb is fries, cheese, ladle of gravy, fries, cheese, ladle of gravy. I'm a gravy lover and even for me, was a bit too much.
The Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza still disappointed us as we tasted almost no ranch and had to add our own.
Thanks for inviting us back even after the long wait to try...
Read moreI had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. I arrived at 8:08 PM, with my designated pickup time being 8:10 PM. At exactly 8:10 PM, a staff member began calling me. I answered, but there was no response. I entered the restaurant at 8:10 pm right after the call, to pick up my order, she questioned why I was waiting in my car, even insisting she could show me her screen to prove I was there.
Regardless of whether I choose to wait in my car, I have paid for my car and have every right to do so. Many restaurants specifically request that do not not arrive before their pickup time—so why rush me the second the clock strikes 8:10? Why no patience ?
If there is any doubt about my statement, the restaurant can review their own security footage. More importantly, attention to timing and respectful communication should be a priority. My day was going well, but a mere 30-second interaction left a negative impression. I urge the restaurant to practice patience and...
Read moreI ordered a Greek salad but asked for chicken with it, (a breast or chunks of chicken, or whatever form it would come in suitable.for a salad) The salad was big, the chicken was teeny tiny pieces scattered about. My dinner.mate ordered 3 piece DARK chicken with fries and coleslaw. We waited close to half an hour with 100% empty restaurant. My salad came first, with 2 paper plates, I'm not eating off of paper plates lol..His fries and coleslaw came 2 min later, the chicken was 10 min later. All filled up on fries and overdressed coleslaw, then comes the WHITE meat. Very disappointed for a dine in service, the chicken and fries came in baskets with paper lining, but I suppose that was because he got his.food in different intervals instead of platter style, which we...
