Sun Valley Restaurant — Restaurant in Winnipeg

I've previously left a most favourable review, today's experience has soured me.

The waitress, who has been there "forever", and more times than not, comes across as "unfriendly" in our interactions. A good attitude and friendly smile does not cost you anything.

That being said, today, she crossed a line. Though she cleared away the previous customer's dirty dishes, she didn't bother to clean and wipe the dirty table top. I'd have moved to a different table, but all the remaining available table had dirty dishes as well. So I sat in the cleanest corner. In retrospect, I should have just left.

How do you excuse an experienced waitress from neglecting her job, a simple task, wiping off a table.

The icing on the cake was when I received my bill. Instead of placing it on the table, she threw it.

The tip, or lack thereof, reflects my impression of the "service" received.

This experience, did not leave a good taste in my mouth. I won't be returning anytime soon. There are enough good restaurants in the city where customer's are...

I went with my father here again today mar25-2022 👸🍩😱There was a dirty fork at the table ..😳😷🧐🙊and they brought a new cutlery set before eating..the waitress seemed in a mood at ordering..and had to be asked to please not he aggressive..as dad asked for veggies and she seemed little concerned customizing the order which is something he always does ,and has always had request fulfilled with no issue . Maybe she was just having a bad day ..❤🥳Aside that once #sunvalley lunch arrived regardless ..👸💯Enjoyed a tasty lunch with Dad at #sunvalley today & appreciated the time with my worlds best Dadas enjoyed roast beef dinner..and I tried the swiss Turkey...

Ordered a simple cheeseburger and fries. Only asked for select condiments on burger. Meal came with condiments I was allergic too. They took burger back and wiped off patty of mustard but was still evident that it was wiped. Second time back I cut burger on one side of the burger to see if onions was in the meat like waitress had said. Found no onions but like stated there was mustard. Returned it again with the assistance of the cashier. Finally when cheeseburger came back it had no cheese but was correct. Meat had the same cut that I did to it but cashier stated it was thrown out. I BEG TO DIFFER !!!!!!!!!!

Also after complete meal was done only then did waitress ask if we wanted a refill of the drink. Wow!!!!!!!!

Not impressed or believe that it was a new patty. This is immoral and not sanitary. I’m sure the health department would like to have knowledge of...
