TacoTime — Restaurant in Winnipeg

Worst experience at a restaurant I've had. She asked us to leave 20 minutes before closing. After making up a bunch of lies which we pointed out where obviously false the finally said the were no other customers so she wanted to close early. She didn’t even want allow us to finish what we purchased, She creepily watched over our shoulder until we left. I’d bet they conveniently lost the security footage of what happened. Then she snarled at us that it was our responsibility had to put our own wrappers in the garbage. Absolutely outrageous. People like that have no business working with the public. Try looking into your granddaughters eyes and try to explain it was not her fault we had to leave. She was being very conscientious, respectful and the police where not going to arrest her for not cleaning the table like the dishonest employee demanded. I reported this incident to TocoTime head office but they didn’t seem to care. No wonder they are...

Honestly, get your lettuce situation together. I ordered you from Skip because it was free delivery, and wondered to myself, "I love tacos, why do I not order from TacoTime more often?"

Then the order arrived and I remembered immediately, Tacotime lettuce - which is on basically everything - is atrocious. It tastes like you've left Subway in your fridge for 2 days and will ruin your food. I could not finish my burrito because of it, and I wanted to so badly. The burrito was 12$ and this is completely unacceptable.

This is the 3rd time from this particular location so I cannot speak for them all, but this location definitely steer clear.

There's a reason why they are offering free delivery I guess. I recommend going through doordash to Joey's restaurant which is also free delivery and over 5 orders and twice the distance, has not disappointed, only exceeded...

The staff must be told to obsessively try and upsell you. It's incredibly annoying. A few of the staff are good and fast and the food has been pretty good a few times but today was rough. I asked for a regular super beef combo and they must have tried to upsell me on 20 different things and then got my order wrong. I ended up getting the right food and they squished it so tight in the bag that the burrito split open and was a mess to eat. The mexi-fries were so overcooked my dog wouldn't eat a second one and he'll eat anything. This is my fourth visit in a row that wasn't great so I I won't be back.
