Went in as the lineup at the drive through was very long. Had to repeat my order 10x (literally, I am not exaggerating) because the server couldn't be bothered to pay attention to what I said (it wasn't loud and I spoke loud and clearly). Even though she finally managed to punch my order in correctly after 10 attempts, and it was correct on the screen, and I paid for what I ordered, they still managed to screw up my order. I ordered an Xtra large coffee with 3 sweetener, 1 cream, 1 espresso; a small mocha ice cap and a plain old fashioned donut. I got a medium coffee, no cream, a large ice cap, and no donut. I had to go to work, so the coffee went in the garbage and I took the iced cap.
I go to Tim's every day, usually at this location. There is one server who, if he is working, will get my order perfect without any ordeal, and luckily he is working most mornings on the drive through. Otherwise there is about a 25% chance, at best, that they will get my order right. The general attitude that is conveyed is that they just can't be bothered, and you should feel grateful for whatever they shove out the window at you (usually while looking the other direction). One server, this summer, screwed up our order and got mad at me for refusing it, saying "What's your problem? Just take it already!" And the manager had to step in to get us the correct order (which she confirmed was on the screen.)
If the other person in my car did not insist on going here every day, I would never go back.
*Since my kid (adult) still insists on going here every day, we have been happy to see a massive improvement. Three stars I'd say. There is still a pretty huge difference in service depending on who is working (there are a couple of servers who deserve higher ratings; 4 or 5 stars respectively... Others not so much). Either way I'd say this location is on par with other locations now. They do seem to run out of things a lot...
Read moreOverall I would say this location is a 5 Star but I'm rating that because of my favorite drive thru guy, Raye. He hands out the orders in the mornings and takes payment and he is my favorite part of the whole experience. He is upbeat, kind, friendly, great smile and fast!
I honestly hate how they have recently renovated the interior. I would not choose this location to go have a sit down coffee with family or a friend. The chairs are few and far between, they look very uncomfortable which I imagine was all part of the plan to make sure folks don't over stay their welcome. It isn't the warm and welcoming atmosphere it was pre-covid.
This location's strength is their drive thru. It may have a line all the way to the road but it goes faster than the inside ordering system. I have gone inside to order several times and usually regret it. A) Because I don't get the great greeting by Raye and B) because they are slow as snails. Sorry ladies but it's true, the front staff need to smile and move a bit quicker because those lines in the morning are very frustrating.
Despite my down points, I am still giving this location a 5 star because of the drive thru staff and the fact they have never buggered up my order.

Read moreThe manager of this tim hortans has very poor customer service skills. I asked for a sandwich on their menu "large sized" as clearly posted on said menu for a 3 dollar up charge in price. She told me no we dont have that. I replied its on the menu figure it out and every other tim hortans honers its large size weather it be with the large bread or two small sandwiches she refused and claimed i had to pay full price for both sandwiches. Which is 7 dollars vs 3 so i asked her if i was in a tim hortans franchise and she said yes so then i asked if items from tim hortans franchise are supposed to be the same at each tim hortans she replied yes and then i asked why she wouldnt honer the deal clearly labled on the menu and she had no awnser so i asked again and she replied its not in my till. I cant punch it in. So they have lost a customer for life due to this piss poor customer service. The staff has no customer service skills under pressure of an unhappy customer. And when i asked for their information to make a complaint they gave me a card which i later realized is from a diffrent tim hortans likley with someone elses information.
