I did a little research on this place and I am very glad that I did! When I went to a local Food Fare store, I discovered Kozak Foods perogies, and I found them top notch! Then I found out that they had a restaurant and service close to Me, so I placed an order and took a 10 minute drive to order the Sampler Meal and a Basic Meal for My Cousin, plus the borscht! Once again, everything was top notch, and I will be a repeat customer! This Ukrainian food is authentic as being there and I loved it! Excellent service and I highly recommend this place! In my personal opinion as someone who originates from the heart of Ukraine, this take out restaurant is the ONLY place to go for most authentic Ukrainian food in Winnipeg currently. Not only is their food absolutely delicious, this place is so incredibly clean you can literally eat off the floor. I have rarely experienced a more sanitary food establishment which is really appreciated by someone who is a little bit of a germaphobe such as myself. Reasonably priced as well!
