I recently enjoyed a delicious chicken quesadilla at a clean and inviting restaurant, which is a hidden gem in Yorkton. The quesadilla was perfectly cooked, with a crispy exterior and a flavorful, well-seasoned chicken filling. The sides of refried beans, guacamole, and sour cream the dish perfectly, adding a nice variety of textures and flavours. The server was incredibly helpful, guiding me through the menu with great recommendations. This meal reminded me of the kind of food I had when I visited El Salvador—real food with real taste. Wonderful little restaurant! The owner greeted me very warmly and offered to help me with the menu. The food came out quickly, and was all clearly fresh and hand made. The quality and authenticity was comparable to the Mexican food I had in southern California, it was really lovely. Even the refried beans were yummy, compared to the bland sludge mostly everywhere else. The food is well priced with big portions, and the owner was very happy, willing to help with anything, and checked in while I was eating (which is above and beyond for a counter service restaurant!).
