Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Yorkton

Just wanted to share that my sister and I had an uncomfortable experience with one of the staff. We don’t order from there often, so we took a bit of time to decide. There was no one else in line, but we felt rushed. I know both of us were trying to speak at the same time, but she could’ve just waited, we were just trying to think about what to get. She even said “holy smokes” in a way that felt rude and unprofessional. It honestly made us feel unwelcome. If shes having a rough day, it’s okay to take a break. but it’s not fair to take it out on customers.

This happens at Tim hortons 375 Broadway St W, Yorkton, SK S3N 2X1 July 14, 2025 @ 6:06 am as per my credit card stamp . She is a caucasian lady. Very disappointed. Just waited 25 min for a breakfast sandwich with a hash brown and a breakfast wrap. After ordering and paying, the cashier told us to go wait in the parking lot. 15 min later my husband went in to ask if our food was still coming or not and the girls in the kitchen started giggling and said it'll be ready in 2 min. 10 min later they gave him our food, he began to walk out and looked in the bag and they had forgotten the hashbrown so he had to go back and get it. We are a 2 min drive to this Tim Hortons but are now considering just going to McDonald's for our food and coffee. Horrible experience, not to mention we wanted to grap something "quick" before our 2 hr drive to see a relative...

Tim Hortons in Yorkton has really changed—and not for the better. Over the years, this used to be a place that felt welcoming to everyone. But now, it’s disappointing to see that they only seem to be hiring people from one culture, even though Yorkton is a very mixed and diverse city. A lot of people have noticed this and made complaints, but nothing has changed.

On top of that, the food has gone downhill. Prices keep going up, but the food quality is getting worse. Items don’t taste the same anymore, and it feels like they’re cutting corners.
