We visited here 7 years ago and had a brilliant night, so it seemed perfect to revisit this holiday. We booked a table for 8pm, the table allocated was directly in front of the singer, and we asked if there was another table available away from the main entertainment. After 30mins of being left stood in the middle of the restaurant we finally managed to grab the staff member who we had asked for a different table, to tell them if it was not possible we would just sit at the allocated table. We were seated at a different table, where it took an age for our order to be taken. At 9.30 we were finally served our meals. I opted for grilled fish with rice and veg, the fish was the worst cooked fish I have ever seen, 2 pieces were served first was white and dry and fluffy, the second dark grey, hard and inedible (see picture). I took the meal back to show the staff the fish, the first response was to ask if I wanted it cooking more, I think this was an attempt at humour. We had several conversations with members of staff where one tried to justify the cooking of the fish as how europeans like it. We were offered another meal on the house, which we reluctantly accepted as by this point I just wanted leave. I opted for grilled chicken, when it came it was the worst cooked chicken breast, dry and stringy, at this point we just left. We did see other food going out that looked and smelt nice so I am not sure what happened to ours, really disappointed by the...

Fantastic place to spend the day or just visit for food.

Plenty of sun beds under shade and also in the sun if you prefer. Unlike other resorts is not a b&b so the beds aren’t all taken from 6am.

The restaurant is lovely with wooden tables right on the sand all under shade. A huge choice of tables, and seating types.

The food was fantastic, we ate for dinner and had 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 drinks each with a bill of ~50€, with complimentary bread and fries. The fried fish platter and tuna were immaculate. Great range of drinks from beers to cocktails also.

The staff are incredible, all very quick and helpful and very accommodating with the menu for any changes you want.

The resort had a TUI excursion visiting with a lot of people but that did not stop or slow down our service and while we went to watch the entertainment they personally came to find us to let us know our mains were ready.

A beautiful place and top of my list to visit again should I return...

I recently visited the beach restaurant and was immediately impressed by the lovely decorations and calming vibe. The soft sand everywhere and cute swing on the beach added to the overall charm of the place. The starters were all perfect, but I was a bit disappointed with the mains. The lobster was overcooked and chewy, and the pork kebab was not like a kebab at all - just 2 very oily portions of meat - not very appetizing. However, the fish dish and seafood set were good. The prices in the restaurant were affordable, which was a plus. Unfortunately, the customer service was not up to par. There was no apology for the mistake in our order, and there was a bit of ignorance from the staff. Despite this, the African show was amazing and definitely worth seeing. Overall, the beach restaurant has a nice atmosphere and delicious starters, but improvements could be made with the mains and customer service.

The Morabeza Beach Bar & Restaurant, eloquently designed in a chic beach hut style with eye for detail. It was so colorful and full of both paintings on the wall as well as carved wooden statues and massive wooden furniture glossed over with base. We missed the opening night on Friday when the African drummers played around the fire pit, but they still had music playing that attributed to the beach vibes & 'No Stress' theme. Great that the kids could just go out to the court and do flips& we could walk right in after having swam from our dingy! The entire restaurant had sand floors and the staff were so pleasant, accompanying to our wishes & smiley. We got to meet Marco, the owner, manager & visionary of the place, started up 11 years ago when he came to Boa Vista from Italy. We had such a great time there together! Possibly the coolest place on the island 😎👌
