Very moody restaurant with great mellow lighting in the evening serving fantastic gourmet Mexican food. Some say it’s the best Mexican food on the island, having tried it, I would agree that it’s neck and neck to the one I also like on Seven Mile. The Agave House Margarita was an excellent to the evening, a good introduction and complement to the great Beef Burrito, Fish Enchilada and Tacos which followed. Not to forget the Entree ‘Tres Salsas’ which was out of this world and a must try with the best freshly house-made salsas. On a side note, the washroom was nice and clean (I find this is often a good indication to the standard of hygiene in the restaurant).

This isnt your run of the mill mexi restaurant, it is an authentic experience. My favorite restaurant on island, an unreal tequila and Mezcal selections. Fantastic tacos, burritos, street corn and my usual, the nudello de puerco. Lunch or dinner, there is a great vibe. Great place to go with friends and share Familia Platos and a bottles of illegal mezcal

We happened upon this little gem after snorkeling and before taking the Cayman Distillery tour and I’m so glad we did. The margaritas are so good and the food was fantastic. The chips were amazing! We got to meet Irwin the owner and if we would have had more time he invited us to see the garden. I would definitely go back and highly recommend!

What a wonderful place to spend the afternoon, the food is oh my God so good, customer service is impeccable. It is the best I have seen in a long time.

I will be recommending this to all my friends and family.

If you like, authentic Mexican cuisine and have a beautiful pallet for tequila, this is the place my friend.

I am looking forward to returning and putting it on repeat as it has become one of my favorite places to go to on the island.

The atmosphere, the food, the service, is all five star, the bartender Kenny, he is the absolute best, with a great knowledge of tequilas.

I recommend going for an afternoon dinner, and just let them do the ordering for you, sit back and enjoy You will thank me for it. It is...

We arrived on a cruise ship and wanted something off the beaten path. On our walk through George Town we found Agave. They have excellent Mexican food, but it is rather pricey for what I am used to getting. Two of us had two small (for Americans) beef tacos, two mole enchiladas, chips and guacamole, a premium beer and a cocktail. Cost- $74 USD including 15% gratuity. The quality was excellent, the service perfect, but the price point was a bit much even for vacation. If I were a local, I’d hope that they would charge less. Given that I am a tourist, I feel a little cheated. But perhaps I don’t realize the costs? I don’t have anything to compare it to, so this could be typical. I mean no disrespect, but it was a...

What ever you do don’t let them know you’re from Toronto or you’ll be tested on your knowledge of the city, restaurants around the city and, be left feeling belittled that you don’t know Mexican cuisine. You should have been schooled on that when you were living in the city. The corn on the cob was amazing, great flavour and texture. Prawn taco was filling with a good amount of spice and flavour. Pork knuckle Burrito however, I would recommend getting the sauce on the side otherwise it’s a sloppy mess. Average tasting burrito nothing to go out of the way for. Considering so much of the food is consumed with your hands it would be nice to have wet wipes or...
