The Foundry — Restaurant in George Town

The food is delicious, However what I didn't like was the crumbs at my feet which brings me to my 4 stars for the atmosphere. The service was amazing, I even got a nickname "Buddy" which gave me a more comfortable experience. I asked for an orange juice and it never came, But I guess it was a gift from God because a friend of mine told me it wouldn't be exactly pleasant to drink orange juice with it so I don't have a problem. I'd definitely visit again, The staff is friendly, Great Choice if your going for AUTHENTIC Mexican meals. The best part was how cold my Pepsi is, Which was good add on. Best Tex-Mex on island in my opinion! The food is flavourful and well-prepared - not too oily. My favourite dishes:

Chicken bacon taquitos Birria taco Mexican rice Refried beans Churros with caramel sauce

I've only ever ordered for take-out so I can't comment on the in-house service. However, they frequently forget to update the Bento order as being prepared/ready so you have to call or go in to check - that's my only complaint. The staff I've encountered have been friendly though!

I would like to dine-in as the decor/ambience is very nice. Want to try more from the menu and see if they make a good margarita as any decent Tex-Mex place should. They also have $4 tacos...

My dining experience at The Foundry was not bad. From the moment I walked in, I was confused wherether it was an open seating or waiting for the waitress. However, the ambiance was warm and inviting. The service was attentive and friendly, but I could perceive that they might have short staff.
