Winery Boutique Hotel — Restaurant in Algarrobo

The hotel has nice location but the rooms are very small and so are the bed so not much space to move inside. Two things that annoyed me a lot here though. The pool you see in the pics are not correct. It was only 3 chairs at the pool and no chair cushions on them. One of them was available at the time I went there but could not use it because it was full with bird poo. All boardwalk was in fact with bird poo so they dont clean or maintain the pool area, despite we went their on a Saturday in high season. Now to the parking, we arrived in the afternoon and told the staff we parked a car, which they could see from the reception. The receptionist said, fine and gave no more information about the parking. So in the morning when we wanted to go out after breakfast around 10am but 2 other cars blocked our car and the gates was closed and nobody at the reception at that time. So we just had to wait together with other annoyed people until somebody got help from staff at the restaurant. So around 10.55 we were able to be let out eventually after he got hold of the last car owner who blocked the other 3 cars. So if you come in car avoid this place if you don't want to sit and wait in the morning so you get locked in until 11 last time of check out otherwise. The main room shown in advertisements is so tiny that two people with minimal luggage can barely move. It is so loud at night with animals outside the window, I thought someone was being slain. The shower head fell off the wall, but that didn’t matter because there was zero hot water. We were advised at check in that breakfast was 845-1000. There was nobody anywhere during this time. When we left at 10, there was still nobody around so we had to maneuver the exit gate on our own. Literally the worst hotel experience...

Viernes 01 de febrero fuimos con 3 parejas de amigos a cenar. Para ser un restaurante que su nombre destaca “el vino” tenían solo 3 variedades.|La comida la verdad no es mala pero tampoco destaca, es “regular”. Ambas cosas mencionadas en verdad las habíamos pasado por alto ya que el lugar es muy agradable y la idea era compartir y conversar. Hasta que llegó una chica 23.25 pm con la cuenta y una actitud peor que si fuésemos pordioseros. Nos dice traigo la cuenta porque nosotros cerramos a las 11 y ya hicimos una excepción, y aún estábamos terminando nuestros platos. Al hacerle mención de que nadie nos avisó del cierre de cocina (pensando en el postre), mucho menos de que el local cerraba a las 23:00 hrs., ella con su apatía nos dice que afuera hay un cartel donde sale el horario “que lo leamos”. Pagamos una cuenta de más de $300.000, literalmente nos echaron sin poder terminar de comer como corresponde. Claramente es un lugar el cual NO recomiendo. En Algarrobo existen muchos otros restaurantes donde atienen mil veces mejor. Sus precios no son para nada baratos, como para además soportar ser tratados de esa manera. Pésima experiencia. Al salir reclamamos al encargado quien se deshizo en disculpas, ofreciendo compensarnos con un aperitivo para la próxima vez o hasta poder utilizar su piscina. Pero la verdad al menos a mí no me interesa ninguna compensación. Yo elijo un lugar para cenar esperando pasar una buena experiencia, además de cenar en paz y rico, el mal rato...
