Casas del Bosque Winery in Casablanca is a must-visit for any wine enthusiast. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the stunning scenery and impeccable facilities. The winery itself is a work of art, seamlessly blending modern architecture with the natural beauty of the Casablanca Valley. Our guide, Alejandro, was the icing on the cake. His friendly demeanor and in-depth knowledge of the wines made the tasting experience truly memorable. He patiently answered all our questions and helped us appreciate the subtle nuances of each varietal. We learned so much about the winemaking process and the unique terroir of the Casablanca Valley. The highlight of our visit was the wine tasting itself. We were treated to a generous selection of their finest wines, each one more delicious than the last. The tasting was accompanied by knowledgeable commentary from Alejandro, who helped us understand the unique characteristics of each wine and how they paired with the food. Beyond the exceptional wines and service, what truly sets Casas del Bosque apart is its commitment to sustainability. I believe the portions to be on the smaller side for not really being super fine dining. The taste was fantastic. I got angus with potatoes. The potatoes were so good but didn’t get enough. There version of pisco sour isn’t with pisco as they are a vineyard and only do wine they make it with white wine. It wasn’t bad but the drink taste like a flat bubbly. There bubbly Bo on the other hand is delicious, definitely loved that! We had the empanada which was one big one for an appetizer. Usually empanadas as an appetizer are small and you get multiple ones this one was like ordering one and just eating that, otherwise it was fresh and delicious. Also had there infusion te and it was good. The reason I wanted to give them a three was because I made the reservations with more than 2 weeks in advance and it was for a special occasion and when we got there it was as if they had nothing reserved and they put it together when we got there and I didn’t appreciate that aspect of it. There was no silverware put out or plates, we had to ask for it as our appetizers arrived and we had nothing to eat it with or place it on. Otherwise the set up is really pretty and would go back and give them a...
