Laobian Dumpling Restaurant — Restaurant in Beijing

Great place. I found it through google maps while standing on a street corner about three long city blocks away. While walking, Maps guided me there and suddenly I found myself downstairs in a packed restaurant. Everything there was in Mandarin and not a soul spoke English. So, Google Translate to the rescue. I conversed with the servers using Translate and we all had some great laughs.

As for the food, this is a truly authentic Beijing dumpling house. The prawn and vegetable dumplings were soft and juicey and rhe Chinese broccoli was soft yet had that nice crunch in the middle. I'll definitely go back, and hopefully before I leave Beijing.
