Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Beijing

Regretful meal. Have rated in a few Pizza Huts i n China but you would do well to avoid this place.

I made the mistake of ordering an Australian steak that was not steak at all. Likely not Australian anything either. Was some weird jellies meat product - like a big chicken nugget in brown meat. Was not pleasant. Would question my dog eating it. Not the safe meal I was after before a 14 hour flight. Spaghetti on the plate was equally inedible. Only thing good was the salad appetizer. Probably the only place at this horific (but that's a story for another time) airport where you can eat something reasonable (even non-meat), or eat anything at all. The large pizza is solid in size and allows you to easily satisfy your hunger. Both the dough and the sauce have an intriguing, sweet flavor, but once you get over this unfamilarity, the pizza is really tasty. You can pay by card (unbelievable!), the service is fast, has some basic knowledge of English and is very polite, and you can take away the leftovers...

I walked around the terminal for ages before choosing to eat at the pizza hut. Right next to it is a small KFC. Friendly staff were greeting a welcome and I decided to go in. There's a limited selection of choices, but something there would suit most people. The pizza was piping hot, had plenty of cheese and pizza sauce and my selection had tasty pepperoni.
