We grabbed KFC from Chengdu East Train Station to have as dinner on our train ride, and it turned out to be a smooth and tasty experience. Ordering was entirely digital—you simply scan the QR code to place your order, which is fast and efficient. However, it’s worth noting that there’s no other way to order, so those unfamiliar with QR ordering should be prepared.

One small thing to be careful about: there are two KFC outlets located quite close to each other within the station, so you’ll need to double-check the designated collection point to avoid confusion. Once that’s sorted, pickup is quick, and the food is packed nicely for takeaway.
