A local recommended this restaurant, and she was right! We dined here twice. Once for dinner and another for lunch, both times we enjoyed what their menu had to offer.
Ma Lan Tou with Pinenuts and Tofu (松仁马兰头): A refreshing herbaceous salad that complimented well with other dishes. We loved it so much, we ordered this twice.
Dongpo Pork (南山东坡肉): A Hangzhou speciality and a must try! The braised pork was sweet with the fragrance of rice wine.
Deep fried Yellow Croaker Fish (黄鱼响铃): Delicious crispy mini spring rolls with hints of meat inside served alongside a bowl of sweet chilly sauce.
West Lake Lotus Root with Sticky Rice (西湖藕韵): This was a very sweet dish and was more of a dessert. Not our favourite.
We also enjoyed their Pineapple Sweet and Sour Pork, the presentation was beautiful. And their Mash Potato Shrimp Cheese was tasty and comforting.
The restaurant was cozy and wonderfully decorated. The staff was lovely and patient when we needed help ordering. You access their menu and order your meal by scanning the QR code on your table...
