Was hungry after swimming. There was no place to buy food or there was no food vending machine at the beach, this was the only restaurant at the beach, so I gave it a go. All sittings were outdoor next to the Beach. Ordered 3 items - Mixed fruit punch, green curry chicken and rice (this wasn't come free with the main dish). The drink was refreshing, the chicken was tasty and the rice was ok and very small, all amounted to nearly $300!! It was super expensive just for these 3 items, but it had the view and there was no competition. Next time, I may take the minibus to go to Stanley to have lunch there after a swim.

We wanted to try this for the first time with a group of 5 with a child, was told by a tall male staff its fully booked except for the bar table while there were 3 available empty tables. We asked if they could accommodate a table and add a child seat but he refused. As soon as we left one walk in couple with a baby and sat down on one of the table with no booking. I quickly went back and questioned, then a lady came out and said how many do you have , we can sit you in a 6 people table now which was the first table we were told it was booked. Thanks but no thanks !

A Grey little beachside spot, although the road can get a little busy in the evenings and cause a little noise.. but it's soon filtered out by the water views, the fairy lights and the background music. The papaya salad was tasty and the crispy spring rolls were light and crunchy. The pork belly was not too fatty and was nicely flavoured. Overall, the food was delicious, but it's definitely steeply priced. Suggest you come along for early afternoon drinks and a snack, otherwise it is an expensive perching spot for a Thai food.

The food is the only saving grace here. The service is awful! We had a large group that had a pre planned party. We arrived a little early and none of the tables were ready, we understand they didn't owe them to us yet so we waited. When our party time came they still did not have the tables ready for us and as each table left, they left it to us to put them together for our party. Then the server came to the table and took half the order and then told the other half we had to go up and order and pay at the bar. Well this caused huge issues with food and the bill. Some at the table who ordered from the server did not receive their order. So they went up and ordered and payed for it but when we got the bill they were charging us again even though we only got the food and drink once. Even though we could prove we paid for it, we were forced to pay again. The main person there (maybe manager or owner) was rude from the second we showed up. They should not allow parties if they cannot handle them being there and they clearly could...

This restaurant is on the one hand very good, but on the other hand it is outrageously expensive! The dishes are really delicious and taste very good, but way too expensive. Even if you order more expensive things like King Prawns, HKD 710 for one person is definitely way too much for 3 rather small dishes and a drink. The only drink I ordered was a coconut, so not even wine or anything like that. The infrastructure of the restaurant is really very simple, which is why these prices are not justified. Unfortunately, it wasn't until later that I noticed that they even charged a slightly higher price, as stated on the menu. According to the menu, the King Prawns cost 350 HKD (which is already very expensive), but the charge was 380 HKD! See photo of receipt. By the way, I was there alone, the number of 2 people on the receipt is wrong. I don't think I will visit this restaurant again (unless they adjust their prices). It's really a shame that it...
