Fantastic beach with a great view, and not many visitors. The only drawback is the lack of nearby cafes, and the noisy road just behind you. The area marked out for swimming is huge, and the bus stop is right on the beach (be aware that the bus stop to go back into the city is actually up a long set of stairs)
Bathroom facilities are good, and there were lifeguard towers on the beach, although they weren't in use the day I visited (in the middle of winter)

Read moreNice quiet stretch of sand with public toilets, lifeguards and Thai (Coconuts Thai) and Italian (Lido) restaurant. Connected to Wan Chai (Queens Road East) by bus no 6A, 6X (going back, the last bus leaves Stanley market for Central by 6:30pm, so make sure you’re at the Island Road bus stop by at least 6:20pm). You can also take the green minibus no.40 (Causeway Bay to Stanley). There’s a sea view promenade that connects to Repulse Bay Beach (which is far more busy and noisy). Great place to spend a lazy afternoon and water is...

There is a small place that has drinks and some snacks but it is very limited as they don't have a chef staffed (At least the day we went)(Monday). But they did have the best berry mojitos! And I love mojitos. The beach was calm and relaxing with not many people there. The water is calm as well and there is floating platforms in the water to lay out on or jump from. Worth a stop. Especially if you are looking for a break from the hectic city life. Don't forget to...
