Tucked along S. Lantau Road, BELLA CIAO is a little Italian gem that truly delivers on authentic flavors, fresh ingredients, and warm, friendly service. The star of the show? The Panzerotti – a crispy, golden delight with a delicate, deep-fried exterior. The Napoli filling, packed with tomato, mozzarella, anchovies, and capers, is absolutely divine and a serious must-try.

The Linguine Alle Vongole hits the perfect balance of rich and bright, with fresh clams stealing the spotlight. For starters, the Calamari Fritti sets the tone beautifully – crispy, light, and oh-so-satisfying. And let’s not forget the Matteo pizza, loaded with Italian sausage and gooey mozzarella. Apparently, it's named after the owner (how cool is that?), and it lives up to the hype!

My partner and I had a delightful dinner at the Italian restaurant, Bella Ciao, after spending the day at the beach in Pui O. We started off with the Burrate with grilled zucchine, which was absolutely delicious and set the tone for the rest of the meal. For our mains, we ordered the mussels and Carbonara, and both dishes were outstanding. The mussels were fresh and cooked to perfection, while the Carbonara was creamy and flavorful, just the way it should be.

One thing we particularly enjoyed about the restaurant was the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The staff and the owner were incredibly friendly, taking the time to check in with us and ensure we were comfortable throughout our meal. It was evident that they truly cared about our dining experience, which made all the difference.

Amazing Italian food in Pui O!

Found an Italian restaurant nearby after going to the beach. Didn’t have much expectations, ended up being amazed by the food! We ordered a focaccia, pasta and a roasted chicken.

The focaccia was SOOO GOOOD!! It’s baked before serving so it had the crisp surface and soft inner.

Pasta was absolutely delicious as well with a generous amount of sauce, a good mix of spice and tomato flavours.

Spring chicken was just slightly subpar given the size. It was also a little dry after roasting. But nonetheless it was still filled with flavours from the herbs marinade. Fries were spectacular as well!

Service from staff was attentive and warm as well. Great place to dine in after a visit...
