After toured Jiayuguang fortress, we, a group of eight Mandarin speaking tourists, went into the restaurant 聚聖飯莊 by the fortress after 2 pm today. It was not busy. The person who greeted us is a senior in 70 to 80's. Obviously, this is a family run restaurant. I am not age discriminating. The thing is he either couldn't hear or understood us and we couldn't understand him with heavy accent either. Finally, we ordered by writing down what we wanted. It took forever for the foods to be served. Two of the dishes were not served. After we told the waitress that we can't wait anymore because our driver had waited too long and we have other places to go, they are at least 3 hour drive,she not charged the dishes but utensils at¥3 per person and a bowl of rice at ¥16.
