Enjoyed a tasty pork cutlet dish tonight. The meal was very filling (I did not need to ask for additional cabbage or rice (refills are free)). The steamed egg was good, being silky soft and carrying the seafood flavour through each bite. As someone who does not like to dip food in all the sauces and rather enjoy the dishes as is on their own, I thought each item, even the cabbages, was flavourful. I felt like I had to be rolled out of the restaurant. While gimmicky, I thought it was cool to see a robot serve dishes to the various tables in the restaurant. The staff were very attentive and were quick to come clear my tray when I was done but I suppose it was to ensure that the next waiting customers could be seated quickly. Read more[22/04/11]I self-ordered my food via a barcode slip provided when I was seated. I got a unadon set lunch that included miso soup, green salad, and a steamed egg custard. I selected side orders of fried chicken and fried oysters as well. The grilled eel tasted as expected but lacking the rich and fatty flavor. Chicken was good like any “karaage”; oysters were big otherwise flat in taste. Fried food were oily whereas overall food saltiness was right. Grill eel is fresh and tasty, fried porkchop is juicy and soft enough, even the side dish is surprisingly good, and not to mention the rice...... Quarantine stop me from visiting japan, and i miss their rice so much... And here is my redemption... Seriously if u don't mind wait a bit, try it...
