Going there expecting a typical cha chaan tang but I was rather amazed.
Went there early in the morning before peak hour, service was good, customers were mostly regulars. Ordered the set as shown in the pic.
The omelette came first and to be honest I expected it to be average hk cha chaan tang standard, but I was rather amazed that it actually was crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside.
Milk tea was tea flavour dominated which is good.
Then came the stay beef noodles, I was a little annoyed that it was not served in a shallow dish. Shallow dish can give you just right volume for the soup, for a bowl you have to put a lot more soup, then the satay sauce will be too diluted and the beef will be swimming in it which is quite a sad scene lol. Read moreEgg tart. Excellent. I ate 3 different traditional flaky pastry egg tarts in HK and this was my fav. The lard pastry carries the delicious and thick egg filling very well. The egg tart is best eaten hot. When it is cold, there is a slight off taste to the pastry. Who likes cold lard?
it is compulsory to order a drink each person if want you to get an egg tart to dine in. Their milk tea and coffee is not the best in terms of texture and taste. So try something like “菜蜜”which is a cooling vegetable tea sweetened naturally with dates.
Their spam sandwich was alright but too little spam compared to other similar restaurants.

I went specifically for the egg tart and it was average, despite being warm. The hot milk tea wasn’t worth it either. French toast was shockingly bad. I couldn’t finished it after one bite. I’m not sure why there are such good reviews about this place.
Please also note that the service and attitude of the staff is shocking. They would rush and pressured you into ordering. Not only is it expensive, 69$ for everything. The over all experience is terrible. I can not...
