A very old and old-fashioned restaurant inside the famous Choi Hung estate. We waited 5 months for this booking and made it just on time for LNY 😂 we ordered most of the classics and highly recommend the 茄汁大蝦,杏汁豬肺湯,一魚兩食 but honestly cannot go wrong with anything. Recommend checking out the steamed egg with fish intestines 順德鯇魚腸蒸蛋 if you are an adventurous eater as it’s so good too. The environment too is so comfortable and familial. The manager sings to birthday guests and the derive is great. Only flaw is the very slow pace the food came. Our whole dinner with 10 dishes took 3 hours to complete! Total came to $4000, quite expensive but worth to spurge for family gatherings.

Found this place because they serve yam duck pancakes. Super old cantonese restaurant. The food is really good and authentic. It seemed like most people eating there were to celebrate something. Half way through dinner they would sing happy birthday to whoever’s birthday it was. A very fun but different type of restaurant. If you’re looking for some true canto experience this is the place! Definitely need a reservation as they’re fully booked weeks in advanced

A very old Cantonese restaurant & undoubtedly one of recommended choices of one is fancy about the old Cantonese dishes which are hard to find: stuffed duck, fried dumplings in sweet & sour sauce, stuffed fresh water fish, crispy fried noodle. Very good value & generous portions. Many of such old dishes need pre-order. Surprisingly unlike other old style restaurants, serving staff here were friendly. A caveat: interior decoration very basic or even rough.

As long as you can navigate to get a booking and bear with the unpleasant customer service for the reservation, then the food and vibe is something that brings the HK traditions and energy, which I really enjoyed!! Great for bday celebration! Kudos to the Manager in bow tie / Waiter / Singer / Marketing (real time live IG)! Services was great after you get into the restaurant haha 😝 My personal favorite dish for the night was 魚腸蒸蛋.

An old Cantonese restaurant with classic Cantonese dishes which are hardly found outside nowadays. Love their crispy wonton and sweet and sour “gum lo” sauce. Deep fried crab and prawn ball is their another signature. Nostalgic steamed eggs with fish intestines and yuen yeung fried rice are my favorite too! Have to book early and confirm the dishes before a week at least. Have been visited here 2 times and I will come back for sure.

This is definitely a hole in the wall, although a pretty big hole. This restaurant has been here for at least 4 decades if not longer. It is a typical Chinese restaurant, so the atmosphere isn't the selling point. However, the food is excellent! Quite tasty! The staff is very friendly but don't expect them to be chatty. It is a very busy place.
