We ordered the set dinner: 4-meat platter (our selection: roast goose, roast pork, steamed chicken, jellied-trotter), hot-plate toufu and green Kang Kong vegetable. The meats were enjoyable with steamed rice, and the goose meat was particularly tender. Seating arrangement was rather uncomfortable. Ambience was noisy and chaotic.

I have been to this restaurant a few times only with my colleagues. The atmosphere is completely the same as other HK local-style restaurants, nothing different. Fortunately, the food quality is quite stable, it rarely gets bad. I ordered fried noodles this time, the taste and the look were so nice and lovely.

It is expensive to have the roasted BBQ pork here. However, 梅菜蒸肉餅 is good and the price is reasonable.

Ordered the Pan fried boneless chicken steak with sausage and toast. Wanted scrambled egg as an add-on but wasn't allowed. I could have added a fried egg, but a scrambled egg was beyond their capability. The chicken was processed, pressed and disgusting. We ordered roasted pork and chicken with rice, sweet and sour pork and some stir fried peas. Overall, the food was mediocre, even Maxim's roast pork was better. Their sweet and sour pork was just porkchops sliced up with hard to chew tendon area.

Not that I would revisit Hong Kong any time soon but definitely not...
