Went in for my first experience for fresh seafood. First you pick the seafood you want to eat and choose how you want it to be cooked - spicy (not recommend unless you're a fire dragon), garlic, etc. The seafood is delicious! Not super cheap but delicious. I miss the lai liu prawn that we ordered and the fried oysters were good but huge portion, we end up not finish and unfortunately can't pack as we live too far away. We regret ordering spicy stir fry clams as it was way too spicy, so beware if you order "bay fung tong friend clams" it is 10 level spicy - I can eat spicy but this was just dragon fire coming out spicy! So we end up not finishing the clams too! Yes we wasted a lot of $$ and food during our first visit, but we will not order oysters next time (due to only have 2 adults and portion size is like 10 friend oysters)
We also ordered crab, scallops on mung bean, we ordered A LOT. The portion we ordered would feed 4 adults, the bill came to HKD$1838 I think for us heavy eaters, next time cutting out the oysters, the bill may be $1500 while I will order more lai liu prawns with garlic.
It was far, we took Uber here, the fare was not cheap, but the experience of this food was great.
The most scary thing was leaving, there is no taxi, no uber, only one mini bus that if you miss it too bad, there is only like a couple of these mini bus that can take you out or else you are stuck there, if there is still mini bus, the next one may take over 1 hour wait. We got lucky when we left, there was 2 spots left on mini bus. The ride was not the best with hills and bumpy road. I would say if you own a car and live in HK this is a great place to go to but otherwise it is not convenient and WAY OUT THERE with lack of transportation to leave! Unbelievable. There were no Uber...
Read moreThis is a fantastic restaurant because not only is it near the jetty I personally find that this is off the beaten trail it isn't in your typical restaurants guides that is available near most commercial district what I really like about this place is the fact that it is only local at least when I visited it and the fuel expatrie statue may see IED blonde hair or Caucasian looking individuals actually speaks Cantonese because they are long time residence of Hong Kong if not born and breed in Hong Kong so everybody is ready for me and because it's a small village and people who visited are mainly locals everybody knows everybody I guess because my host who brought Media not only know the stuff but also several of the other customers in other tables and they seem to know other people too so it really feels like a village.
Foot wisest definitely fresh because as you can see from the seafood tank the catch it live so because it is life I guess it makes it a lot fresher and all the chef skills that is probably just as good so all in all wonderful food nice ambiance very rustic...

Food - it's a fresh seafood restaurant, and it is fresh, you can pick and choose which specific seafood you want at the water tanks. Then you can choose your preferred method of cooking. I am a big seafood fan and this place did not disappoint.
Pricing - I've been here several times with various number of people. Its always around 300-400 (hkd) per person, with some drinks. Quite decently priced, and reflective of its out of the way location.
Service - Nothing special here as there's not much needed for a restaurant of this nature. Staff are friendly and accommodating, that's enough for me.
Hygiene - Acceptable, enough cleaning provisions to cater for different people's standard of hygiene. Toilet was a bit meh, but as expected for a seafood restaurant by the sea.
I gave everything a 5 star in hopes to bring it back to an overall 4 star rating. I think this place deserves a 4.5 star overall. Would come...
