ClubONE in Mangrove — Restaurant in Yuen Long District

Prices are relatively expensive. Service is poor. Food quality is average, and staff are not particularly friendly. This restaurant used to be a Café de Coral before becoming Cafe Mangrove. Service and food quality were much better beforehand. They even want people to pack up their own trays once done (which is not the norm in Hong Kong). This is what happens when there's a monopoly on food vendors in a place away from other choices. I'd suggest having a nice lunch at Tin Heng (天恆), one LRT stop away, and then walking to the park, having a snack or two while walking around. Picnicking is not allowed...

Beautiful location looking at the peaceful wetland. With a nice and airy space, it could have been a perfect place to relax before or after a long walk into the wet land park. What a shame that being the one and only eatery in the area, it only comes up with food that are too overly heavily mindlessly seasoned that you can’t really taste them, and decor and service that’re little better than a lousy...

The location is perfect. It has a luxury vibe to it. The food was also good. Prices are a bit on the higher side. I ordered curry beef brisket with rice and the curry had more turmeric...
