Despite its secluded location, this small establishment is always packed with customers on regular weekdays and evenings. I noticed that the staff maintains a great relationship with the diners, engaging with them like friends. 😚 I believe that the friendly service and cozy atmosphere are among the selling points of this restaurant. ❤️

🔸In terms of ambiance, the chicken pot place is very comfortable, with no overwhelming smoke or strong smells. The seating is also comfortable and spacious. 🔸When it comes to service, the attentive staff takes the initiative to help remove excess oil, stir the chicken pot, and add broth. They also provide recommendations for the spiciness level of the chicken pot, creating a warm and personal touch.

🐤Signature Devil's Chicken Pot (Half portion: $198) + Fish Maw ($58) Start by customizing your own soy sauce and condiments. The chicken portion is generous, with tender and juicy meat. We ordered it with a lower level of spiciness, just a notch above the mild "baby-holding" spiciness. The flavor is rich, and luckily, the considerate staff reminded us that the "baby-holding" level would be too spicy for us. Adding fish maw was a first for us, and it was absolutely delicious. The texture was refreshing, tender, and slightly chewy, resembling fish maw. It absorbed the flavors well and was a must-order. ❣️

🐮Angus Beef Sirloin ($138) The portion is just right for two people, with a perfect balance of fat and meat. The taste is rich, and the beef flavor is intense. ❣️

🍋Jewel Lemon Tea ($38) A sincerely crafted drink that saved us, two people who can't handle spiciness. The large-sized lemon tea had a strong tea flavor and perfectly met my request for less sweetness and ice. ❣️

🥠Instant Crispy Bell with Sweet and Sour Sauce ($42) This is a recommended dish by the staff. They simply serve it with sweet and sour sauce, and it's incredibly crispy when fried.

🥗Handmade Cabbage Dumplings ($42) The pork and cabbage filling is generous and satisfying.

🥢0.03 Paper Tofu ($32) The cute paper tofu only needs to be soaked for 5 seconds before eating. The texture is similar to tofu skin.

It’s my sec time to go for this chicken pot with my fds but this time was totally disappointing compared with last time we ordered the takeout. First of all, we ordered the half portion of chicken and told the waitress we had ate sth else before we got there so that we couldn’t ate out the whole portion of chicken. When we were having the check and the receipt showed that our chicken we ordered was the whole portion, that meant they changed the portion without our permission. Honestly what they did was really obnoxious! And btw the uppity waitress seems unwilling to make up for me about their mistakes even tho she admitted she did wrong order!
