Never disappoints ! A great place for colombian traditional BBQ. Morcilla, chorizo, papitas y carne. (Morcilla is a bloody sausage, chorizo is hand made wiener, sweet yellow small potatoes with pork chops and beef). Also the place is great for big families. A hidden gem in the up north BOG. Price: Is good for the food served. My advice? Is THE place to go if you are hosting more than 10 people. They know their trade and everything will be ready fast and perfectly cook. El pasado domingo 27 de abril, como es de costumbre fuimos a almorzar junto a mi familia (7personas), pero nos llevamos sorpresas muy desagradables; Tres horas para esperar que nos recibieran el pedido, una vez llegamos a la barra o mezon donde reciben el pedido, se pudo observar funcionarios despotos, descorteses, atendiendo de manera grosera al cliente, no sabemos como miden la porción de proteínas( ternera-costilla), eso queda a la libertad del señor o la señora que organiza las porciones, unas más grandes que otras por tal motivo no se sabe con exactitud cuál es el gramaje que se paga por ese precio tan elevado, todos los productos subieron más del 30% y la atención es pésima; Llevamos mucho tiempo almorzando en ese lugar, pero nos damos cuenta que no han sabido aprovechar la imagen, popularidad, para que presten un buen servicio, importante capacitar a los funcionarios, hemos llevado varias familias recomendando el lugar, pero ya no es lo mismo; Cada uno de los comensales llegamos con nuestro propio afán y lo menos que se quiere es que los funcionarios atiendan de mala gana; Esperamos no volver y no recomendar a nadie; Muy triste que no sepan valorar al cliente, quien en últimas somos los que acreditamos el lugar; Que mi Dios y Nuestra Virgen Santisima le bendigan y...

El Establecimiento lo conozco y eventualmente lo visito desde hace más de 20 años. Comparado con esos tiempos los cambios que ha sufrido la Ternera de Luis, han sido muchos. Unos para mejorar y otros no tantos. En general los productos son muy buenos y de calidad, la porcion de Yuca está de muerte y se puede decir que va acorde con su precio. Algo que no ocurre con la porción de ternera. Costosa para lo poco que hechan y donde finalmente en la bandeja queda una buena parte de "gordos" tendones tiesos y partes casi quemadas y como con media libra de sal concentrada en esas partes que son imposibles de comer. La organización para comprar, esperar la entrega y conseguir una mesa apenas cumple, pero es "perdonable" porque la cantidad de comensales es brutal. Indudablemente seguiré yendo porque en últimas es prácticamente el único sitio decente para consumir carne de buena calidad. Finalmente las porciones son exquisitas y su precio es medianamente acorde con la cantidad. Rellena, Arepas de Choclo con queso, papas criollas, Chicharrones, entre otros son excelentes. Ojo! La sopa de cuchuco sin espinazo es muy poquita para lo que se paga, deberían considerar aumentar un poco...

The place is packed on Sunday 1 pm. Long line. Expect to wait about 40 minutes. You make the line, order and take to your table. During the afternoon it is HOT. I recommend to get there before noon to get a table that is not directly under the sun. The workers are friendly. The customers are also friendly. Excellent family place and you can bring your pets. One of the best Colombian food that I have ever eaten (rellena, mazorca, longaniza, arepa de choclo, ternera, plátano, guacamole, refajo) - 100% suggested to go there once in Bogotà. It opens only during week-ends and public holidays: this makes the Place very busy. For this reason, it's better going there early.
