Rincon del Viejo Willy — Restaurant in Bogota, Capital District

Very nice setting comfortable with 3 rooms. Nice selection of menu items. I disagree with others who much earlier reviews said too expensive.. compared to what Presto burger? We even got a chance to see Willy I guess as part of the Sunday experience. He was friendly and gracious greeting people at tables throughout the restaurant even the back room. The place was clean and service was attentive including clearing dishes which I appreciate

I had the Cacuela de Mariscos langustinos which translates in English as a casserole but really is a fabulous seafood stew with fish and crab and shrimp and pulpo and calamari so tender and great spicing including my loved Cumin in seafood. The dishes all had a Pacific ocean orientation. I cleaned out my bowl completely and delighted in the real half a real langustino not just decent shrimp that topped it off. The coconut shrimp was great and fried plantain done thin. I helped my wife finish off her Salad came with the mujarra.

One of their specialties is coconut lemonade..delicious not sweetened. But I stuck with an Aguila Light. Being only 800 m from our condo must visit some more to...

Más que una experiencia, es tener el escenario perfecto 👌, para remontarse en el tiempo y revivir los grandes momentos de gloria, que un ser humano, dotado de incompatible belleza espiritual, como lo es el bien querido, admirando y respetado "Viejo Willy", nos regaló. Hoy, sin disminuir su talento, aquel, que lo escribió en el libro magno de nuestra historia, nos entrega otro escenario, su "rincón cito", producto de su constante apuesta por la vida.
