Crepes & Waffles La Flora — Restaurant in Cali

The restaurant is located in North Cali - a couple blocks from Éxito La Flora. Parking is offered on the streets surrounding the restaurant.

Nice ambience inside out. Good number of tables. The menu offers a large selection of entries, salads, soups, creps and waffles.

My big complain was the service. There is nothing worse than a bad service right before your meal. That is exactly what happened this afternoon. My experience was ruined. After a table was assigned Andrea came to us. I requested water, she said only bottles of water are served in the restaurant. I found that weird because in many other restaurants they provide a glass of water. I told her that I would be providing feedback about it. After saying that, Andrea left without saying anything and giving us attitude. It was an awkward moment. We didn’t know where she went. Few minutes later she was passing in front of our table without saying anything so, I called her and I asked her if she was able to take our order. She did take our order but said nothing about her absence during those minutes. Her service was dry. She never smile. I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. The only reason why we didn’t leave is because it was raining and it would take a while to get a taxi.

When we ordered our desserts, they brought 2 glasses of water. So what happened here? , at the beginning Andrea didn’t bring the water however, when the dessert order came, 2 glasses of water were placed on the table. We didn’t understand.

Food was good, nice ambience but service was questionable 🤨

It's nice, like any other Crepes & Waffles chain, you can guarantee the taste of the food, portions etc. I love their Panne Cook (if that's how to spell it!) The location is easy to get to, the venue is big and feels alfresco even though It's inside, but the huge windows are amazing. If you prefer aircon, they have a smaller side room with aircon. I'd if something could be improved is the service. You walk straight in and pick any seat, but then it makes it hard for the waitress to know who to serve first. Also it's not a place you can go in a rush, all aspects of getting served takes a considerable amount of time (including getting thr bill).
