It was my wife's surprise 40th birthday party. We walk in and the place is nice. We sit down we ask for water they bring one glass. I ask for water a second time I get nothing, we ask for water now it's multiple people asking and we get told it's not free 😂😂😂😂. Ok so charge me for the water i said bring us pitchers for the table. Guess what still no water. While taking the food order my son wanted a soda they told him no i am taking the food order. Excuse me get the girl who's standing around doing nothing to get the kid a soda. 45 minutes in still no water and they didn't even ask anyone if they wanted an alcoholic beverage. I now know they are not into making money but to make believe they are the elite of manizales or something. The only elite thing about this place is that they are an elite joke. It's my wife's birthday she is the birthday girl and they are so bad and out of touch that she had a pen and paper taking the drink order thats when i became irate. I took the pen n paper gave it to the waiter and said it's your job you take the drink orders NOW.... manager comes over with security I told him it's the worst service I have ever had and they were so disconnected they had no clue how to fix it. Like my guy take your horrible staff in the back stick your foot in their butt about how bad they are and you come out and start serving and taking our drink orders, be a leader, instead they just walk around making believe they are managing... if I was the owner I would have a very big change there because hes losing business and his managers are weak and need training in customer service. I can say this is the worst service I have ever had in my life and I've eaten in restaurants around the world. My bill could have been higher and the tip would have been the customary 20% like in NY. The staff left 1.5 million pesos on the table that that restaurant could have made if I was the owner I would be pissed. Food came out and the potaotes on the beef were cold too by the way. Thanks for a terrible...
Read moreLa Azotea Rooftop restaurant offers a truly unique experience in Manizales, especially at night. Perched on the 14th floor, it provides a breathtaking panoramic view of the city as it lights up. For the best experience, I recommend sitting by the windows to fully enjoy the stunning vista.
The menu is extensive, featuring a variety of dishes made from locally sourced ingredients. The cocktail selection is particularly noteworthy, with a range of locally inspired drinks that are highly recommended. The food itself is fantastic, with each dish crafted to perfection, and the desserts are equally impressive.
Despite the high quality of both the food and the view, the prices are very reasonable, typical of a smaller Colombian city. It's rare to find a place that combines a fantastic view with equally fantastic food, but La Azotea Rooftop manages to excel in both areas.
If you find yourself spending a night in Manizales, La Azotea Rooftop is a must-visit destination. The combination of the spectacular view, exceptional food, and delightful cocktails makes for an unforgettable...
Read moreIt was my 40 th surprise birthday party I have never experienced worse service in my life. We asked repeatedly for water for the table it was never delivered. We asked for a waiter or waitress to take people's alcoholic beverage order it was never taken. They told my 12 year old son he can't have a soda while they were taking the food order....are you kidding me. Then why are we there if we can't get serviced my family could of done the party at home and did everything themselves it was spelling and very upsetting. I would 1000% never do a party here again and it was only 24 people closest family. The saddest thing is the manager asked why my husband was so upset and nasty...here's why because you people have no idea about service let alone good service. To the owner: your terrible staff left a lot of money slip thru your hands at least an extra million pesos not to mention a much better tip and yes we left a tip because that's the type of people we are./ me hicieron una fiesta sorpresa para mi cumpleaños numero 40 y tuvimos la peor experiencia de nuestras vidas en relacion con el servicio de meseros.
