Crepes & Waffles — Restaurant in Medellín

I am really baffled at why these places are so busy. I've been to 2 different locations and the service was bad in both of them. The food isn't bad, but it isn't great either. Portions are small, and not cheap. For example, the caesar salad might have 20 cents worth of chicken. I'm not kidding - its that small.

The 2nd time we went to the location in Unicentro. 4 Colombians, and me. Three of us got our meal, finished the meal, and were still waiting 15 minutes for the other 2 plates to arrive. Management seemed to give zero cares. It took over 30 minutes just to bring us water. Mind you, I'm not doing the ordering... Colombians with perfect Spanish. I'm really not sure how this company...

Las meseras tienen que estar un poco más pilas. Una niña estaba tan distraída que se quedaba quieta esperando nuestro pedido y no entendíamos por qué si ya le habíamos dicho todo. Pues qué pasó? Se quedó en la sopa (lo primero que dijimos) y todo lo demás estaba en las nubes. Tuvimos que aclararle que ya le habíamos hecho el pedido y repetirle cuál era. Cuando pedimos la cuenta pedimos datáfono. primero, tomó demasiado tiempo en llegar, segundo, llegó sin datáfono. No sé puede así, hay que estar más pilas. En ese mismo restaurante (sede) me han pasado chascarrillos como que pido una bebida que nunca llega, tanto es que me cansé de esperar y pagué lo demás y nunca llegó. Tuve que irme. Tiene un rincón con aire acondicionado (el segundo pisito), lo cual es excelente porque estamos a más de 30 grados afuera. Hay que mantenerlo siempre prendido, ojo. Respecto a la comida, nos dejó a todos muy satisfechos porque hay sedes de Crepes & Waffles (digámoslo así...): Algo "tacaños". Es decir, las porciones de comida, postres y helado muy pequeños, y el sabor no satisface tampoco.
