Do not go. The man tries to scam people by telling them the wrong bus times so they have to spend an extra hour buying drinks or offers a very expensive taxi service.

He was very rude, spoke about me to other customers bad mouthing me and shouted at me when I politely said I knew when the bus was coming and didn’t want to miss it (he said I had at least 30 mins, I knew it was in 10). He then followed me down the road shouting (until the bus came on schedule😂)

A horrible experience- avoid this place...

Great place to eat and drink after a long walk in the park. No issues with payments - we actually got some extras for free from the owner - “to try local food”. Very friendly owner; from Cuba - so be ready to hear some salsa music ;) he is also half German (his wife also German) so you can speak German here :) The owner shared funny stories and even showed us a baby sloth that they temporarily adopted in their house, after mama sloth ran away. Estafador, pero a mí no. Lo cogí al vuelo. El día 22 de junio de 2024 salía del parque de cahuita. La chica que atiende el parque me dijo q el autobús pasaba a las y 45. No me acuerdo que hora pero diría q eran la 13.40. Para confirmarlo le pregunté al del bar. Ya solo las pintas del tío, esa sonrisa falsa. Me dijo lo que a todos. Pero que el autobús pasaban a las y 30. Es decir 13.30, 14.30, 15.30 y así sucesivamente. Me dijo quédate aquí hasta que venga más gente del parque y te tomas algo mientras o si quieres ir a la parada y estar 1 hora esperando como tú quieras... Con esa sonrisa falsa y esos ojos azules que te delatan que tú de allí no eres. Viniste hacer negocio a costa rica a costa de los turistas pero a veces das con gente q te dan mil vueltas. Mi intuición q nunca falla me hizo pirarme directo a la parada. Mi sorpresa q me veo allí a un local (uno como el que salia en el anuncio de me estasss estresannndooo) y le pregunto... A que hora pasa el autobús? y me dice ahí viene jajajajaja. De traca! Pasó sobre las y 46 o 47 y fueron 560 colones. Así que cuidado con este simplón no te tomes ni agua del grifo. Y si lees esto que seguro q si, acuérdate de mí. El que venía todo sudado y me querías engañar diciéndome q estaría 1 hora esperando en la parada y no estuve ni un minuto. Este falso caribeño se creía q podría con un canario. Te falta comer mucho...
