My recent experience at Quintessential Costa Rican Food was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I walked in, I was enveloped in an environment that was heartfelt, comforting, and genuinely welcoming. It felt like stepping into a warm embrace, setting the perfect tone for the dining experience that followed.

The food itself was a delightful journey through traditional Costa Rican flavors, each dish lovingly prepared and bursting with authenticity. The homely atmosphere was more than just a backdrop; it was a testament to the care and attention to detail that makes this place special.

I cannot speak highly enough of Doña Silvia, whose loving nature truly made this experience memorable. Her presence added a personal touch that transformed a simple meal into a cherished memory. It’s clear that her passion for cooking and hospitality shines through in every aspect of the restaurant.

If I could, I would dine here 365 days a year. I wholeheartedly recommend Quintessential Costa Rican Food to anyone looking for a genuine and heartwarming culinary experience. It’s not just about the food; it’s about the feeling of being welcomed and cared for, making it a place I will always return to with joy.

Good value for the price and the food you get. They sell traditional Costa Rican dishes, servings are huge and the attention was delightful. We tried the typical breakfast: Gallo Pinto comes with 2 sides such as eggs, salchichón, cheese or sour cream. They serve you a big plate of tropical fruit for free. Also, they let our dog eat with us which was amazing. I totally recommend this place if you are on a day trip to...

We had Gallo Pinto, Aguadulce and Coffee for breakfast. The place smells great due to their kitchen. The portions are huge and the service was very kind.
