Selva Tropical — Restaurant in Jiménez

A standard rest stop restaurant. The food is good (typical Costa Rican fare, with beans and rice, plantain bananas and other tropical fruits, and so on) and the bathrooms are clean. There were a lot of tourist groups so the staff speak English. Not wheelchair accessible (gravel and stairs). What sets them apart is their lovely butterfly garden. There is a fenced/netted in area where multiple butterfly species flutter around and land on different plants. They have a few "feeding stations" set up with fruit to attract them. Wir waren zweimal hier essen, als wir auf dem Hin/Rückweg zur Laguna Lodge waren. Das Restaurant gehört zu dem Hotel und wir haben hier einmal Frühstück und einmal Mittagessen bekommen.
