Cafeteria with delicious food. I am usually quite picky and I don’t enjoy food as much, but this place stole my heart and stomach- the food is amazing! All meat: ox tail, chicken in cream and mushroom sauce and fish are to dye for! Photos are our 2nd helping. I also liked passion fruit cheesecake. We paid 36mil.for everything-lots of food with meat and dessert. It was nice that several people speak English, so it was easy to talk to. Highly recommend the place. Can’t recommend enough!

If you end up in Limón, this is the place to eat at. Highly recommended. We thoroughly enjoyed large portions of excellent Caribbean and Costa Rican food. After walking around town, this escape into lunch hit the spot. Roena took the time to explain to us how she prepares the delicious ox tail soup (small bowl in photo) and sugar cane drink. I was too full to eat any more and took home some leftovers. Thank you Roena and Restaurant Kalisi for a memorable meal.

For the best Coffee while in Puerto Limon, Costa Rica come to visit this family own and run restaurant. They have the best coffee in town and cook exquisite traditional meals, enjoyed and recommended even by the locals. You will not find a better place than this to try their cuisine.
