Almendros Cantina — Restaurant in Nosara

We went to Almendros Cantina tonight at the recommendation of the B&B we were staying at & we were super pleased. This place is really great, we loved the candlelit tables, soft lighting, open kitchen & the food was amazing. The space is clean & we received good service. My margaritas were yummy & strong. My son ordered a burger which was made with high quality beef & I had the shrimp with rice. The shrimp were fresh & the dish was really yummy. We even decided to get their desert which was a warm, home made brownie served with vanilla ice cream. Another perk was this place is priced right, we have been shocked with the restaurant prices & food quality in No$ara but here you get incredible food & mixed drinks that won’t make you feel like you were just ripped off. The food was very good and tasty. They took some time but they did apologize and gave us a glass of water without asking for it which was a nice surprise. The Chirripo options were amazing and we also got the brownie with ice cream and they had the detail to ask if we were allergic to almonds. Very clean and we'll organized. The restaurant is almost open doors. For the price, quality and service is the best option...
