Italianissimo • Quesada — Restaurant in Quesada

I love to try food from different cultures so once in Costa Rica I wanted to only have Costa Rican food! However we were recommended to go to italianissimo by our hotel! And we fell in love! This is a family ran business they moved here from Italy and started having the restaurants! The first night we went to one location were we had the AMORE pizza which is the cheesiest most delicious pizza and ravioli in a pesto sauce! Tonight we had the lasagna and the calzone pizza! The second location which is the one I’m writing the review for has a huge collection of wines! They actually remembered us from our last visit so we took photos with them! Love the food the wine and the service! Prob the most authentic Italian food...

I ordered the seafood pasta. Best I’ve had so far in Costa Rica but it left me still hungry because I have big appetite. Maybe if some bread were served might make it more filling. Or larger portion size. My wife had the spaghetti al chetta. It looked like she had a bigger size portion than me. She enjoyed it and was a good size for her. We are staying at a resort about 20 minutes from Italianissimo. Tonight was our second visit in 3 days. The food and service are excellent. I ordered the house special pizza tonight and it was probably the best pizza I have ever had. Monday night I had the chicken with a mushroom sauce, potatoes and salad.
