Surprisingly delicious sushi at very reasonable prices. Also strongly recommend the Flor Fashioned drink (conceptually an old fashioned with flor de caña instead of whiskey, though it adjusted a couple elements), as it was deeply delicious. We got the 40 piece fiesta sushi plus an additional Kenko roll, edamame appetizer, two cocktails and two naturales for around 36.000 colones. They have a lot of decent vegetarian options as well. Our favorite sushi rolls were the nevado and the kenko. I would have loved to see more interesting vegetarian and vegan sushi rolls. Great atmosphere, though there were at least a dozen televisions nearly all of which were playing different things. There was also music that was medium loud. Thankfully not overwhelming (we could still hear each other without yelling) but I would have loved a slight reduction in volume.

As of September 2024, this is my favorite restaurant in Costa Rica. I had lunch here two years ago (see review below). In town again for a visit, we went to Kenko’s two nights. The first night, I had Koko Loco sushi with tempura shrimp on top. Delicious! The next night we wanted pizza, and returned to Kenko's for the very best pizza in the country, I promise. Service both nights was excellent. If in Ciudad Quesada, go to Kenko's. Two years ago: "A nice lunch. Service was great. Nice ambience. I had a table to watch the folks on the street. Recommended."

This place is top notch. Being gringos, we weren’t sure if this was just a gimmicky tourist place or not but we LOVED it. They have English menus (albeit only 2, so we noticed they were shared and other English speakers had to wait for us to be done with the menus) and the restaurant is tropical/rainforest themed. The servers didn’t speak much English but were still very accommodating. The food was fantastic, reasonably priced and we were given a large portion. They only reason I have to give 4 stars instead of 5 is the charge for a takeout box…. It just seems tacky to charge 200 colones for a takeout container. Maybe it’s normal in Costa Rica but it sure...

It is an open a air restaurant with curtains that can be closed for harsh weather (rain). It's atmosphere is that of a sports bar with good lighting and plenty of monitors of all sizes to watch important sporting events world wide. The service is very good and the personnel is very attentive to your needs. The quality of the food is excellent especially the Japanese style dishes such as sushi rolls. The prices are in the mid range for a standard budget which makes it accessible to most everyone. The only big issue is that it has no parking space of it own. Is it worth visiting?...
