Terrazas del Bosque — Restaurant in Sabanilla

Was a happy day until a series of events. Not many vegan options (only soup and pasta), but tomato soup was adapted, they brought it cold, I asked to be reheated and the waiter brought it and sadly he spilled hot all over my legs, dress and my white designer bag. He was very sorry and staff helped me to see if I needed any help, I was in a wet dress after it and it was getting cold. Thankfully I didn’t burn my leg as next week I get married at the beach. The girls tried to help me wash the bag, after 40 min of trying, we left. The bag was damaged, so I have lost a special gift and a couple of thousand dollars. What i have to say from this experience is that they need to train the staff better on how to take food to the table. They charged me the whole invoice except the soup lol. The manager and the 2 girls that helped me were awesome however our experience here was ruined by inexperienced staff. The pancakes got ruined by the soup and still charged me 😅 I am CostaRica and I wasn’t angry but disappointed of the situation and lost time. Visitar esta zona del país es genial porque queda cerca de San José, Heredia o Alajuela y el clima es espectacular. Pero adicional, imagina tener la suerte de escoger un lugar para comer y que ese lugar sea: Terrazas del Bosque. 👌🏼👌🏼👏🏻👏🏻

Punto 1. La ubicación es perfecta; queda sobre calle principal y posee parqueo. 💯

Punto 2. El restaurante posee dos ambientes por así decirlo: salón y otra tipo terraza con una vista hermosa. Árboles, plantas y pájaros te rodearan mientras estés en este lugar. 🌲🌳🍃🍂🪴Además tiene un sitio donde puedas tomarte lindas fotografías 📷📱

Punto 3: El personal es súper atento y te amplía la información sobre las dudas que poseas sobre los platillos. A pesar de que había bastantes clientes el servicio fue eficiente y siempre con una sonrisa en el rostro. 🙂🙃

Punto 4: el sabor de la comida. Me he pedido una pasta al pesto que no les puedo explicar… se las recomiendo 😋😋😋 además la porción es buena por lo que la relación precio-cantidad está súper bien.

En su próxima visita por la zona Terrazas del Bosque será una muy buena opción para comer ✅

Fantastic fresh food, lots of options, very kind staff. We were seated on the lower terrace and enjoyed feeling like we were dining in the canopy. Hummingbirds visited the terraces throughout our meal. It was high 60s while we were there so they lit a fire (space heater) to take off the chill. Many more good things to say.... definitely put...
