The barista here with the bleach blonde hair at the cash register has a HORRIBLE attitude and the worst customer service I have ever received in my life. I have an allergy to milk products and my boyfriend asked for my coffee to be made with lactose free milk, to which she denied she had, despite us being able to see the lactose-free milk in the fridge. She then charged him for two coffees because she was upset that she had already prepared the wrong thing and would have to remake it with lactose free milk. Instead of giving him the coffee she mistakenly made and charged him for already, she gave him attitude and DUMPED the coffee into the sink in our presence. I have never in my life received such hostility from a barista. Don’t even bother stopping at this rubbish...

The coffee is good but the waiter was rude. We bought a coffee using a credit card and then decided to buy also souvenirs and food but their card terminal was having issues. Instead of helping solve the problem she was very rude to us and just told us to pay with cash and since we didn’t have she just ignore us and move the stuff we had picked to the back and give us a bad look. I was very surprised in her change of attitude and really...

Coffee shop that seems to be popular stop among day tours out of San Jose located on edge of coffee plantation where typically tour guides educate visitors about history of coffee in Costa Rica and coffee plants/trees in general. After spending a long night in a horrendous hotel nearby, we found this little Cafe on our way to our next destination. It's just a small roadside stop, but we got some delicious hot drinks and tamales. They have a great balcony with rocking chairs that you can relax on while overlooking the coffee plantation. It was a great respite for a break from driving.
