I found this place on google maps knowing there was some great mirador restaurants (restaurants with a great view) overlooking the Central Valley and we had one night near the airport before flying out the next day. This is very close to the airport but it can take some time with the crazy traffic to get to. It was worth the drive though as the view is great. We were with my in-laws who were in Costa Rica for the first time so this gave them a great view to see what the Central Valley is like. We were a bit concerned when we got there and while waiting for our food as there was not another person in the restaurant and it was 6 pm. On a Monday though. I’m guessing this is a busy place on the weekends! It did not disappoint though. The food was very good. I was disappointed they did not have a Casado as that is what I was planning for our last Costa Rican meal. We ordered the Cordon bleu and shrimp and both were very good. I would say the food was 4-4.5 stars but the view puts the place to a 5! We would go back or recommend this place!

Getting there was easy with Everything lit up, unfortunately the Google hours were incorrect and we had 45 min to order eat and pay. Plenty of parking if your driving. Views are wonderful even after a rainy afternoon. October weather wasn’t too cold an it illuminated very well. Food wasn’t that impressive but presentation was great. Had a older gentlemen attend to us immediately without rushing he took our order and brought our food. Food didn’t take long. Ceviche with the tuna wasn’t very tasty and tasted very bland. The beef soup wasn’t bad but it had many vegetables that you may not know. Salad looked and taste delicious and paying is up front at register. Super easy. No reservations required or needed in October. The whole menu was available and no issues with food or mosquitos at night. Because of the wrong hours we had to wait in a none lid street for uber since they had to close gate up the hill.
