Update. Have been coming here for years. Consistently good.

Very large facility serving a wide variety of Costa Rican food. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable. Lots of staff keep service moving even at busy times. Menus are available in English or Spanish. Try their horchata (almond based drink), the best I have found! Lots of parking across street with attendants to help you in and out on this busy highway.

They brought out the plate with the fondu cheese and it had one really small tortilla. Similar to the tortillas that you get when you buy fried chicken. They did not take the core out of the piña colada drink that comes in the piña shell. When restaurants try to go really cheap on the food . It always turns me away. I felt like I got a bad deal compared to other places in Costa Rica. I have eaten there several times before without a problem. I guess the new menu and higher prices made me think it would be better....

What a fantastic and authentic meal. We thoroughly loved the entree as well as the meal selection. The drinks were also fantastic. Jose Manuel Ramos Madriz was a fantastic host and whilst we could only speak English, he was able to translate and answer all our questions. The whole menu was authentic and it was hard to select a choice. My friend was vegetarian and was very happy with her selection. I was happy with mine as well. The food was fresh, well cooked and very tasty. I am very happy with my choice...
