Ichiraku sushi — Restaurant in San Pedro

Ordered for pick up. We were told 1hr to have it ready. Upon arrival, we were told that they had "a little delay", so they made us wait, and wait... It took them 30 additional minutes to have our order ready!!! And when it came out, the cashier, YES! The cashier decided to use her UNWASHED hands to pour whatever crusty thing on top of the rolls. She used her BARE uncleaned, money touching hands to touch our food!! And she did this RIGHT AFTER charging us for our order!!! So, cleanliness is NOT a mandatory deal at this place. When I complaint, the manager apologized and said he could have our order re-made. We would just "need to wait 15 minutes". Then, he took our order back to the kitchen. Instead of disposing it, he took it back. I did trust them. Requested a refund.

If you have recently eaten/ordered from this place and got sick, this may as well be the reason.

This is no time to...

Prices are really good and for the price sushi is ok. What I liked is that they give you soy sauce and eel- no extra charge- , also they have real veggie option (more than carrots and lettuce inside the roll, not like this hideous place use to serve that, and it broke).

Couple of downfalls: they have too many rolls with cream cheese as ingredients (you can ask to remove it) and prep time, I believe it was high for only 20 pieces.

El día de ayer hice la peor compra del mundo. Ni se embarquen en comprarle a esta gente. Hice el pedido a la 1pm y llegó a las 4:20pm. Durante el retraso me dijeron que el mensajero venía acá de primero, luego me dijo q el mensajero se fue a entregar otro antes que el mío (cosa que no es mi problema), luego q no se podía comunicar con el mensajero, luego que el mensajero tuvo un problema, etc. Cuando le comuniqué a la encargada que ya no quería el pedido, que me regresara el dinero, se disculpó y me dijo que lo recibiera como disculpa y que me iban a regresar el dinero igual. Pues me devolvieron solo 3mil colones y me dejaron un sushi que al final no comimos porque el arroz estaba duro, el aguacate negro, las hojuelas tempura que deberían ser tostadas ya estaban suaves y húmedas (por el tiempo que tardó en llegar). Les reclamé por el dinero que me depositaron y tienen el descaro de decirme que como siempre me dejé el pedido entonces solo me devolvían el envío, cuando desde un principio dije que no lo quería. La verdad no voy a pelear mas por un dinero que a lo mejor necesitan mas ellos que yo. 😒😒 Ojalá tomen en cuenta mi comentario también para que no les pase...
